Meet at the Lakeside Campground to go through our gear, sort out tents and maybe share some of the food around to carry. A quick hello and a briefing, including making sure everyone's packs are fitted and off we go. This days walk is uphill. Then some uphill. After some great views of the entire Lake Eildon we descend to the shoreline and head towards camp, set up our tents, maybe dip your toes before enjoying a yummy home cooked dinner and a glass of wine.
Day two begins with a short stretch to loosen the hamstrings and shoulders then we load up again for a longer and much flatter walk around the shoreline today. Enjoy the tranquil waters and gaze out from the shoreline as we wander, chat and enjoy our return walk to the starting point.
