Participants should expect to paddle for 2-4 hours per day, and undertake one walk of approximately 2hrs. The paddling is on a Lake so we expect the paddling to be fairly easy, however weather conditions will determine how difficult it is. If severe conditions are experienced, then we will wait on a shore or the support boat will be available to shuttle clients to the destination. It is highly unlikely that clients will capsize, however we will go over all boat safety and paddling instructions, to give you confidence on the water. Clients should expect to get wet via paddle splash and general entry/exit from the boats. A reasonable level of fitness will be important and as with any of our tours the fitter you are for the activity, the more the attention moves from exertion to experiencing your surrounds. If extreme weather is forecast, TSA reserves the right to postpone the event as per our terms and conditions.
Provided we are advised in advance of your departure we are able to cater for vegetarian diets and can assist with medically recommended diets (allergies and intolerance's). Please ensure you discuss your requirements with us well in advance.
