Overview

Escape to the mountains for fresh Autumn air and soak up the incredible scenery of the high country. Relax and reconnect as we bring together exercise, wellness, nature and community and create the perfect weekend getaway. Be supported and looked after, refuel with yummy food and a glass or two? Enjoy your time because we have taken care of everything! All you have to do is switch off and unwind. We want to inspire and motivate you so that you leave feeling amazing and proud of yourself.

What is packless hiking?

Packless hiking is your opportunity to enjoy multiple days on the trail without having to carry a big rucksack or sleep in a tent. You head out in the morning with a small day bag, some water and maybe a jacket, and our guides carry your lunch and anything else you may require for the day. Enjoy a lovely lunch with salads, cheese, crackers, fresh fruit and a range of other produce all suited to your dietary requirements. You can then enjoy the rest of your walk and focus on the scenery and the enjoyment of being out on the trail. Tired at the end? Well now you get to stay in a comfy bed for the night! This is the most wonderful aspect of packless weekends. Enjoy a dinner prepared by our multi-talented crew and then rest well and be ready for the next day. Could exploring be any better than this?

Itinerary

You can arrive anytime from 6pm onwards and we’ll be there to greet you. Enjoy a 2 course dinner and a relaxing drink. Optional walk to the summit or settle in for the evening and get to know your fellow hikers. A Yin Yoga and relaxation session to prepare you for a good night sleep.

Jump out of bed nice and early for a Vinyasa Flow yoga before enjoying a delicious healthy cooked breakfast. Grab your daypack and off we go. You’ll be out on the trail all day and our guides will be there to support, encourage, guide and feed you all day. Today we will hike to Little Buller via circuit, finishing in the afternoon with a wellness workshop before dinner. Reflect on the day, your efforts and relax with Yin Yoga.

Start our last day with a morning yoga session and a yummy breakfast. We’ll then pack up and head to the trail for another day of exploring. Enjoy a picnic lunch before we say farewell.

What to bring:

  • Large drink bottle, or two normal drink bottles on a hot day
  • A small backpack
  • Medication, camera, etc...
  • Hat or beanie depending on weather
  • Sturdy walking boots, trail shoes or runners
  • Walking clothes, we generally recommend shorts or light pants with layers for your upper body

A comprehensive gear list is provided to participants prior to the trip.
