Join in this rare opportunity to have a crack at 5+. This has been given the tough grade because we’ve made it tough. A day for those of you wanting to push the envelope a little more and explore a vast amount of countryside from mountains to ridges, valleys and tracks. Be confident out on the trail under the direction of our experienced guide and Director, Adrian Infanti and get two helpings of Lemon Slice!!!
This exciting walk will explore the track, trails and off-track areas of the little known Pyrite Range State Forest. Located near the better known Lerderderg Gorge, this slightly less rugged area allows us to traverse a section of creek bed, plus enjoy some good old fashioned “let’s go this way”. The variety of walking is a feature of this day out, with easier tracks through to moderate off-track. This variety of walking will test your mettle and let you explore some more unique aspects of bushwalking in the safety of our experienced guides. Plus we always have a great selection of food and our walks consistently rate for enjoyment and appealing social company!
Just to give you a little comfort, our route will include a slightly shorter opt-out point for your peace of mind.
A comprehensive gear list is provided to participants prior to the trip.
