Picture perfect Olinda Falls is located in the Dandenong Ranges, just an hour from Melbourne’s CBD. This hike is a little more challenging than our previous mid-week walks, challenging those who are ready to take on a Grade 3 walk, as the path can also be slippery in parts (if you aren’t sure if this is you, just ask!).
The walk is 15km, where we will embark up the hill to reach the top of the falls themselves. With Spring in the air there should be an array of native flowers to view as we walk. With viewing areas for both the upper and lower falls, we will enjoy a yummy morning tea of scones, as well as an indulgent, but well deserved lunch. Hopefully we will also here a delightful chorus of different native birds to keep us company along the path!
A comprehensive gear list is provided to participants prior to the trip.
