The good old Dandenong Ranges are without a doubt one of Melbourne’s best assets. It’s hard to believe that somewhere so serene and scenic can be so close to the city.
Starting at Woolrich Lookout we will wander down down down the valley, chatting and enjoying the wonderful diversity of 150 species of vegetation of the RJ Hamer Arboretum. (arboretum is a Latin word meaning a place of trees!) We’ll also spend some time at the Dragons Nests! What a place to run around and explore! Rain, hail or shine, bring your raincoats and let’s get outside for the day. With lots of kids and parents, you’ll be in great company and we expect lots of laughs as we then put in some cardio to get back up to the start. To make sure you have the energy we’ll provide a range of nutritious healthy snacks along the way!
We will have two separate walks on the day. The younger kids 5-11 will head off one way while the 11+ kids will walk a slightly longer route. This is a guide and is based more on fitness ability and enthusiasm rather than age.
Each adult ticket includes 1 free child ticket
