Grade 2 – click for info
It’s school holidays and the kids have been cooped up, which means you may be cooped up too! Everyone needs that dose of outdoors to feel refreshed, and to hopefully help the kids sleep a little better when they get home!
This walk will give the kids plenty of chance to explore, run around in nature, get dirty, hopefully, spot some wildlife and experience the beautiful rainforest surroundings. We will walk along the Ada River before discovering the Ada Tree. The Ada Tree is a well-known landmark and one of Victoria’s oldest and largest trees, and is estimated to be over 300 years old!
The kids won’t stop talking about this experience. They will feel energised, and the time away from screens will do both of you the world of good! It will give you and your child the chance to bond with each other, and hopefully discover a combined love of nature and the great outdoors.
