Anakie Gorge Picnic Area
Anakie Gorge
Min Age : 12

Join us on this delightful exploration of one of Melbourne’s lesser-known gorges. Great walking tracks combined with views, hills and flat walking make this a great all-rounder. This walk is a circuit and includes a short section of in and back trail, plus a number of lookouts.

Anakie Gorge is an ancient rock formation with geologists estimating its formation was over 500 million years ago! With this in mind, you can believe us when we say the views on this walk are nothing short of sensational.

Getting there: Located approximately an hours drive from Melbourne’s CBD, enter ‘Gorge Road, Staughton Vale, Victoria’ and look out for the Anakie Gorge Picnic Area
