Tour Details

Walking through the stunning region of Daylesford this walk combines the misty treasures of natural surroundings with the tale of the Three Lost Children.

We promise you won’t get lost in the bush as we journey from Lake Jubilee along an open fire trail towards Wombat Creek Dam. If you have never experienced this part of Victoria’s Gold Regions before you have been missing out! An area famous for gold mining, natural mineral springs there is something both mysterious and tranquil about the bushland surrounding the area.

As with all TSA adventures, we will enjoy a range of yummy snacks, and delicious, nutritious home-cooked lunch, wonderful company and support along the way.

This walk will have a number of short sharp hills, and be 15kms in length. It’s a Grade 3.

Despite the sad story behind this trail, the memorial for three local boys who disappeared over 150 years ago shows the heart, soul and community that is small towns such as Daylesford. You may even wish to pop into some of the local boutique shops and cafes on your way home!
