If you have ever seen pictures of the pristine waters of Wilsons Prom, you know this stunning slice of Victoria is on your ultimate bucket list!
The Prom has a true sense of serenity, which dates back to the time it was first settled in the 1800’s. Supplies were brought in every six months, with no communication available to the outside world outside this time.
For most of us, even just a few days switching off now sounds like a dream come true, which is why we are embarking on one of our first ever two night hikes and taking on the Southern Circuit (or Lighthouse Circuit), which is arguably one of the best walks in Australia.
Fri., 30/11/2018, 9:00 am – Sun., 02/12/2018, 5:00 pm
This walk is suitable for those with moderate to good fitness and involves 10km, 20km and 16km walking. You will need to carry some of the food yourself, and although it can be a challenging walk at times the landscape will distract you, as will our guides as they coach you through mindfulness techniques for focusing on mind over matter.
If you have done some overnight hikes before, or are simply looking for a new adventure then the Wilson’s Prom Southern Circuit is the walk for you!
The first night of this sensational walk will be spent at one of our old favourites, Sealers Cove. One of the best places on the Prom, you will enjoy delicious food, great company and wake up to breathtaking scenery the next morning ready to take on day two.
The second night will be spent at the most southern point of Wilsons Prom, Roaring Meg. On this part of the walk you will get the best of both worlds, with scenic beach views and inland trails through the bushland, you may even get to spot some native wildlife and birds along the path.
