No chores, no cooking or cleaning… get away from the chaos of busy weekends and let us look after you so you can spend quality time with your child. We have a weekend packed with activities that you can enjoy together including kayaking, nature walks, night time spotlight walk, camp fire, high and low rope courses, yoga, activities and games. We also have the opportunity for you to spend some quality time just for you, either join one of our workshops, yoga sessions, horse riding, or why not relax to the full and book a massage as we entertain your child. They will be kept busy with cooking classes, games, archery, and more.
The accommodation is in the old athletes village units from the 2000 olympics, the rooms are clean and spacious sleeping 4-6 people, each with their own bathroom. The grounds are well maintained with an area just for mums too. There are several big communal areas, as well as campfire and games area, beautiful natural bushland, a petting farm, and some yabbying is also onsite.
CFL is also only 10 min from Angelsea, where we will head to the beach for activities, a walk and even try some beach yoga. The weekend schedule is planned, so you and your child can do as much as you want to do together, including our extra activities of horse riding and massages.
This time is about you and your child, be apart of something that encourages health and hands on activities together. We believe that being in nature and fresh air, away from the chaos of busy lives, competition, and screens, you will have time to focus on your relationship with each other and yourself. The focus is on mindfulness, health and wellness, and time for each of you to feel rejuvenated, connected, and most importantly to forge a memory and relationship that will last a lifetime.
Schedule at a glance
Day 1 - Arrive at Coastal Forest lodge from 5pm on friday, we will show you to your rooms, and play some get to know you games, eating a yummy healthy dinner before a night time spot light walk and a relaxing yoga session.
Day 2 - Wake up with an activity to get the heart beating and the blood flowing.. We will then launch into a day of activities. There will be designated times in the afternoon to choose whether you want to do an additional activity with or without your child. We will finish the day with dinner and a camp fire
Day 3 - we will wake again to an activity before heading to the beach for a choice of yoga, kayaking and or a nature walk, before heading back to base for a yummy lunch and finish of activities. The weekend will end with one final activity before heading of feeling awesome and connected at 4pm.,,

The weekend is aimed at mums (and dads) and child the walks and activities are suitable for children between 5 - 14. ts.
Provided we are advised in advance of your departure we are able to cater for vegetarian diets and can assist with medically recommended diets (allergies and intolerances). Please ensure you discuss your requirements with us well in advance
