You Yangs Branding Loop

If you are in need of an escape from the urban landscape, and want to find yourself surrounded by stunning views then the You Yangs is the place to go. With rocky outcrops and expansive views of the coastal plains and even to the Bay, the East West Walk has been rated as one of the Top 10 Walks Around Melbourne. Starting at the carpark, we will first head off of a large circumnavigation of the lower sections of the park, before winding our way back up towards the carpark, then finishing with the short and sharp uphill to the summit of Flinders Peak, the highest Mountain in the You Yangs and surrounded by the distinctive granite peaks of the You Yangs. Enjoy views over the vast volcanic plains between Melbourne and Geelong that make up this unique part of Victoria. The walk is moderately flat on the loop followed by some stairs to reach the top and is a perfect day out.
