Join us for another new and exciting hike in the little known Pyrite Range State Forest, and explore some cool riverbed walking and a few great views.
Near the better know Lerderderg Gorge, the less rugged area, allows us to traverse a long section of waterway, plus enjoy a moderate ascent to be rewarded with great views. The variety of hiking is a feature of this day out, with an easy start on management tracks leading on to lesser trails, then follows a few kilometres or dry creek bed walking as we tightly wind our way through the Park, before making an up and down off-track exit to lastly following a fenceline trail back to the start. Plus there is a cool little mesh bridge to cross!
This huge variety of hiking will test your mettle and let you explore some more unique aspects of bushwalking in the safety of our experienced TSA guides. Plus we always have a great selection of food and our walks consistently rate for enjoyment and appealing social company!
This a longer day walk including some lightly forested off-track walking and will suit fitter walkers.
