Mount Macedon - Gourmet Hike

A beginner friendly hike in nature sampling local produce, wine tastings and meeting new people on the trail.
Enjoy our usual combination of great walking and social atmosphere, and mix it with some local Mt. Macedon produce and a refreshing beverage or two. You’ll get to experience the great atmosphere on this day out, where we have managed to combine the best of both local bushland tracks and trails with local wineries and hotels to give you a unique outdoor adventure! After a morning walk with a couple of hills, and possibly a few slippery parts during winter! You will get all the way over to Mount Macedon Winery for a delicious wine tasting and morning platter.
We then have a downhill walk in the bush again taking us back across the face of Mt Macedon. This brings us to the Mt Macedon hotel for a glass of one of their wines or craft beers, plus enjoy a full lunch platter to make sure you are well fed and watered! Soak in the atmosphere, chat with your fellow hikers before we take a short downhill walk back to the starting point.  We’d like to thank our partner venues:
