Payment Plan Terms Of Service

PAYMENT PLAN TERMS OF SERVICE

Take Shape Adventures

This document sets out our liability in relation to your use of our Payment Plan. In these Terms Of Service, weus or our means Take Shape Adventures ABN 93 143 572 294.

Payment Plan Terms

Please read these terms before you buy. By clicking “accept” you agree to these terms.

This agreement is between you and Take Shape Health & Fitness Pty Ltd, trading as Take Shape Adventures (ACN 143 572 294) — referred to below as “we”, “us” and “our”.

You must be 18 or over to book.

How the payment plan works

Your payment plan is created automatically by our booking system when you buy. It’s made up of a deposit at the time of booking, followed by monthly payments until your balance is paid.

The deposit amount varies by event and is shown on the ticket page for that event.

How long the monthly payments run depends on the length of your event:

Event length Monthly payments continue until

5 nights or more – Two months before your start date

4 nights or fewer – One month before your start date

Your balance is spread evenly across the available months. The exact amounts and dates are set out in your payment schedule, which you’ll receive when you book.

The closer you book to the event, the fewer payments there are. The balance is simply divided across whatever months remain before the cut-off.

Payment plans aren’t available inside the cut-off period. If you book within two months of a longer event, or within one month of a shorter one, payment is due in full at the time of booking.

We don’t charge interest. The total you pay under a payment plan is the same as the advertised price.

Automatic payments

When you book, you choose a card for us to charge automatically (“your nominated card”). By accepting these terms, you authorise us to charge the amounts on the dates in your payment schedule.

You can change your card at any time by contacting us.

A few things you’re responsible for:

  • Making sure there are enough funds available on the payment dates
  • Any fees your bank or card provider charges you (for example, credit card interest) — unless those fees resulted from our error
  • Keeping your contact details up to date, so you receive your payment reminders

If a payment date falls on a weekend or public holiday, we’ll process it on the next business day.

If a payment fails

If we can’t process a payment — for example, because your card has expired — our system will automatically try again once every 24 hours, up to three times. If all three attempts fail, we’ll send you a failed payment notice.

If something goes wrong

If you think we’ve charged you incorrectly, contact us as soon as you can. We’ll investigate and let you know in writing what we’ve found and whether we’ll be adjusting your account.

While your payment plan is running, we’ll only contact you to:

  • Send payment reminders
  • Respond to you when you get in touch
  • Suggest an alternative arrangement that would benefit you
  • Follow up if payments aren’t being made as agreed
Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe’s terms, available on the Stripe website.

Communications

You agree to receive all communications from us electronically. Please keep your contact details current — we can’t be responsible for notifications that don’t reach you because your details are out of date.
