Dights Falls Short Hike
We’re bringing the outdoors to your doorstep with a brand-new loop on our favourite inner-city river. This short hike crosses the Yarra on the heritage-listed Kane’s Bridge, visits Dights Falls and winds through the Yarra Bend nature trails and bushland, passes the flying-fox colony, and returns along the river via the Fairfield Pipe Bridge. You’ll be amazed how wild it feels just a few kilometres from the CBD!
Do you want to add more hiking into your weekend and enjoy a healthier and fitter lifestyle? We know that sometimes you just want to get out, catch up, have a social morning and get a little more confident on the trail. Our short walks are your best opportunity when you don’t have a whole day to spare, and we’ll have some morning snacks available to keep you going.
Our short hikes are usually less than 10km and graded between 2–5. This walk has a few short climbs, stairs and some uneven dirt tracks, making it suitable for those with moderate fitness and anyone wanting to gain confidence on varied terrain. As always with TSA, there’s every chance of a little extra exploration along the way.
The best part about our short hikes is that TSA Plus members receive one FREE short hike every month. Check out our Membership page and become part of an awesome community of people getting outdoors, improving mind and body, and making adventure part of everyday life.
