Griffith Falls & Dandenong’s

If you love a harder day out and want to be challenged with some weird and whacky terrain, then today will tick all the boxes. With a few suburban streets, a long rocky trail, and lovely fire roads that lead to lesser trails that leads to no trail at all (just for a little bit) and a waterfall which is not really a waterfall, then today will have you exploring all over the Dandenong Ranges on a long loop plus some inclines thrown in for fun. Suitable for those fitter and more regular walkers, today will have you exploring, chatting and enjoying the feeling that comes with a challenge achieved.
Our Director, Adrian, has heard your call for more adventure and has put this little gem of a day walk just for you. As always we’ll provide some delicious snacks and lunch on the trail, give you views of the Dandenongs and further afield and provide those little moments where you mutter his name under your breath. Reward yourself and then head home for more rewards with a hot bath and Epsom salts!
Please Note: This is a longer and more challenging hike. While our goal is to finish by 3:30 PM, please keep in mind that as a group, the pace may vary, and the hike could take longer. Conditions at the top can be significantly colder, so be sure to bring extra warm clothes to layer on. Even in dry conditions, parts of the trail can be slippery. Walking poles can be helpful, and it’s essential that your footwear has good grip.
