Jump out of bed nice and early for a delicious healthy cooked breakfast. Grab your daypack and off we go. Today we’ll start with the picturesque walk to Tongue Point and Fairy Cove. If the weather is nice then bring your bathers as we may have a quick dip! This beautiful walk along the coast lets you gaze over blue waters, white sands, granite rocks and is one best lesser known walks. We’ll enjoy lunch beside the tranquil Darby River and may visit Darby Beach with an enthusiastic group, otherwise it’s off to Tidal River for a coffee stop and then heading out to Mt Bishop for a fantastic loop on the forested flanks. There is an option of going to the top which adds 2km and you’ll be rewarded with breath taking views of the coast and bass straight with many islands stretching off over the horizon. After all this we head back to our cosy lodge for a 2 course dinner and relaxing. There is a pool at our accomodation for summer and a woodfire for cosy winter nights.

After another great breakfast we’ll pack up and head to the trail for another day of exploring. A short drive has us back at Vereker Outlook for our inland coastal hike up this little hill. Take in vistas of Corner Inlet and vast sections of the Prom from coast to coast. Enjoy a snack on the trail and then head back to the entrance of the park for a yummy antipasto lunch. In the early afternoon we’ll have you wandering across paddocks (well almost) to Big Drift where you can explore and photograph the biggest dunes in the Park and roll down them if that excites you! We’ll wrap up around 3 pm leaving you plenty of time to make the drive home, and maintain that relaxed feeling.
