Cheese, wine and a Sunday afternoon in Alphington
Sunday 8 November, 4 to 7pm
District Bottle Store, 80 Grange Road, Alphington (link to Google Maps)
Bookings close Sunday 1 November, or when sold out
Four local wines, a table of local cheese, and an afternoon with people who love getting outside. No hills involved.
From 4 to 6pm, Nick and the team at District Bottle Store will pour a guided tasting of four wines, and Daniel from Dreaming Goat Dairy, a small family farm in the Macedon Ranges, will talk us through his cheeses: how they're made, what to look for and why they work with each wine. Then we'll share pizza, and the bar stays open until 7pm for anyone who wants to settle in for another glass.
Come with a friend, or come on your own and leave knowing a room full of people you'll probably end up walking with.
Shhh it's also Adrian's Birthday.
