Eight days of restfulness, quietness, stillness and active movement — a reminder of who you are beneath everything you carry.
Your VIA strengths, story-led: which are genuinely yours and which you built out of necessity.
What you actually want for your role, your body and your life — verbalised without justification, probably for the first time in years.
What you’ll say no to in order to say yes to yourself — practised in the room, ready to walk home with you.
The thirty seconds that answer who you actually are now. Written on Day 7, spoken on Day 8, used for years.
You write yourself a letter on the final morning. We post it to you four weeks after you return, exactly when the glow fades.
A gentle welcome, a shared meal and the slow easing-out of operating mode. The one question is named — who were you before you became who everyone needed? — and left to sit overnight.
Morning session at the resort; each woman names what brought her here. Afternoon in the Vietnamese countryside — village, cycling, a home-hosted dinner. Late session: what’s holding you back.
Strengths and learned behaviours — the emotional core of the retreat. Your VIA results, story-led, in structured pairs. The afternoon and evening for it to land.
An early start to the Son Tra peninsula — wildlife walking, jungle, Da Nang Bay and the Marble Mountains. No formal workshop; the walking conversations are the work.
Cham Island in the morning — boat, snorkel, beach lunch. Afternoon workshop: midlife capacity — nutrition, energy, perimenopause and menopause. How your body is also how you lead.
My Son sanctuary in the morning — Cham ruins, ancient music, pottery, river boat back. Afternoon workshop, led by Susan: verbalising what you want and the boundaries to hold it.
Morning herbal healing journey — gardens, infusions, meditation, vegetarian lunch on the farm. Afternoon workshop: your elevator pitch — the practical artefact of the entire retreat.
The closing morning: each woman writes herself a letter — what she learnt, what she’ll do differently, the boundaries she’ll hold. We post it to her four weeks later. A closing ritual, lanterns lit, and each woman books her post-retreat call before she leaves.
Founders running a business with 5–50 staff, or senior leaders inside an organisation — roughly 42–58 — successful by external measures and quietly aware that something needs to shift. A small cohort of women at the same altitude.
Wellness retreats give rest; coaching gives tactics; conferences give inspiration. This does recognition work first — naming the strengths that are genuinely yours versus the ones you built to cope — then rebuild and return. The sequencing is the method.
Seven nights at the Almanity Resort and Spa (twin-share or solo), all meals per the program, all in-country transfers and excursions, daily yoga, the eight-day facilitated program, your VIA assessment, a private 1:1 with Susan, pre-retreat onboarding calls, your posted letter, and post-retreat integration and check-in calls.
The retreat is structured and documented as a professional development program — named competencies, a written agenda, pre/post assessment and a completion certificate — which many participants put through their business as a PD expense. As with anything tax-related, confirm with your accountant; we provide all the documentation you need.
A $1,500 deposit secures your spot, with the balance split 60 and 30 days before departure. Founding-cohort places are limited to 12 and offered first-confirmed. Payment plans available on request.
Yes — a domestic version runs in Cairns, Far North Queensland in August 2027: the same recognition work, closer to home, for women whose lives don’t yet allow eight days overseas.
