Happy Valley – Short Hike

The Happy Valley track is perfect for a brisk morning walk, with some single trail and wide open climbs, you can sidle up next to a new person or a regular friend and have a great social chat. Then get ready for some downhill before text incline – we love inclines on our energetic short walks. This is a little carpark with no toilets, sorry!

Do you want to add more hiking into your weekend and enjoy a healthier and fitter lifestyle? We know that sometimes you just want to get out, catch up, have a social morning and get a little more confident on the trail. Our short walks are your best opportunity when you don’t have a whole day to spare, and we’ll have some morning snacks available to keep you going. It’s a great way to start your day, have a little exploration and get you feeling happier and healthier!

Our short hikes are usually around or less than 10km and graded 2, 3 or 4. At the easier end of the scale is a 2 and perfect for beginners and those just wanting an active social outing. They are a great way to gain confidence, meet like minded people and start a journey of hiking. Our grade 4 short hikes will have a few more undulations (hills) or just go at a quicker pace, and suitable for those with moderate to good fitness. Obviously the 3’s fit right in the middle. Remember there is always the chance of an extra TSA ‘let’s go this way’ element :).
