Lysterfield – Short Hike

Only 40 mins from Melbourne this is a great location and easily accessible. We’ll start the morning by getting those legs warmed up with an uphill hike (we’ll get some great views of the park from there – a nice reward for your efforts). There are a mix of uphill and downhill trails on gravel-like surfaces to get those legs and arms pumping. A great hike to test or build your fitness.

Do you want to add more hiking into your weekend but are short on time? Our short walks are perfect; hike in the morning and be back home before lunch. A great way to start your day, have a little exploration and get you feeling happier and healthier! Plus we’ll have some morning snacks to keep you going.

Our short hikes are usually around or less than 10km and graded 2, 3 or 4. At the easier end of the scale is a 2 and perfect for beginners and those just wanting an active social outing. They are a great way to gain confidence, meet like minded people and start a journey of hiking. Our grade 4 short hikes will have a few more undulations (hills) or just go at a quicker pace, and suitable for those with moderate to good fitness. Obviously the 3’s fit right in the middle. Remember there is always the chance of an extra TSA ‘let’s go this way’ element :).

The best part about our short hikes is when you become a TSA member you get one of these hikes FREE every month! Plus discount on all TSA trips. Check out our MEMBERSHIP page, and get motivated, add accountability and improve mind and body with some adventure time in nature.

Testimonials

Every time I go on an adventure it is like seeing family again. Can’t wait to see who is walking to catch up. The meeting of new friends and conversations is what I look forward to. Good luck everyone, thinking of you all. The sun will still come up tomorrow that is for sure. And if not we’ll get out and enjoy the day anyway. Can’t wait to see you all again, friends.
