Bellarine Peninsula – Short Hike

This beginners walk is a flat 9km partial circuit along the foreshore of the Bellarine Peninsula. We can add some adventure with the tide, but don’t worry as we have an optional track for the return journey! Our walk starts on Bluff Road and heads through coastal salt marshes and wetlands before strolling along the foreshore.

Do you want to add more hiking to your weekend and enjoy a healthier and fitter lifestyle? Our short walks are your best opportunity when you don’t have a whole day to spare, and we’ll have some morning snacks available to keep you going. It’s a great way to start your day, have a little exploration, and meet new people.

Our short hikes are usually around or less than 10km and graded 2, 3, or 4. At the easier end of the scale is a Grade 2 hike, perfect for beginners and those just wanting an active social outing. They are a great way to gain confidence, meet like minded people and start a journey of hiking. Our Grade 4 hikes have a few more hills and go at a quicker pace. Grade 3s are right in the middle!
