TSA Christmas Games & BBQ

The end of the year is noisy, busy and full of “shoulds”, but this isn’t one of them. It’s a chance to shake off the year’s pressure, get outside, move your body and actually enjoy the connections you’ve made. This is your time to celebrate being part of the TSA crew, whether you’ve done one event, ten, or have been watching from the sidelines. It’s your Sunday afternoon reset before Christmas.

What’s happening

• From 2:30 – 4:30 pm we’ll kick off at Darebin Parklands near the picnic area and dive into a true Take Shape Adventures–style activity: a playful mix of hike, movement and games, with small team challenges that get you exploring the park, solving problems and laughing as you go. It’s designed for all levels and you’ll reconnect with familiar faces, meet new hiking buddies and remember why getting outdoors feels so good.
• From 4:30 – 5:30 pm we’ll wrap up and make our way back to TSA headquarters for a relaxed glass of wine, beer or soft drink, light nibbles, BBQ and TSA-style grazing (feel free to contribute and bring a plate of your favourite). This is some time to share your favourite moments from the year and chat about the adventures you’re dreaming of next.

Who it’s for

This afternoon is perfect if:

• You’ve joined any TSA hike or tour this year and want to reconnect with people you’ve met
• You’re on the edges of the community and want a low-pressure way to come say hi
• You want something that feels grounding and good, not just another rushed December commitment
• You’d love to introduce your partner / kids / friends to the TSA vibe

Come solo, bring a friend, or bring the family – everyone’s welcome.
