Parent and Teen French Island Hike

Looking to reconnect with your teen and escape the daily noise?

Our special French Island Overnight Hike is a fully supported two-day adventure designed for one parent and one child (ages 10–17) to share quality time in nature. With guided hikes, campfire chats, and everything provided (gear, food, support), it’s the perfect way to strengthen bonds, build confidence, and create lasting memories. Just $750 per pair (one adult + one child), with the option to add an extra child for $295. This adventure is limited to 5 families, so book now!

French Island is a secluded natural wonderland with exciting flora and fauna to spot, gorgeous beaches and sunsets, and beginner-friendly trails, making it the perfect place to unwind and connect with your loved ones. With great proximity to Melbourne, this is a wonderful opportunity to explore a part of Victoria that is not often visited, yet offers some of the best walking, right at our doorstep.

If you or your teen are new to hiking or camping… great! This is your opportunity to give it a go in a supported environment that is perfect for first-timers and hiking-lovers alike. We only carry our backpacks for the first 5km, then set up camp and continue with day bags to explore the wilderness and easy tracks around the island.

This trip includes ferry fees, camping permits, professional guides and yummy home cooked food!

Testimonials

I love hiking and getting out in nature but having never camped before (I like my comfort!) the thought of an overnight hike was rather daunting and an impossible feat for a while. Having watched the TSA trips for a while, I decided to try out the beginner’s overnighter.

Being able to borrow all the gear from TSA was a major plus. The guides were real gems and just delightful. They took extra good care of the group and made sure we were as comfortable as possible.

I loved my overnight intro. Sure, I was a bit stiff and sore but loved the hiking experience and the total immersion in nature that only a multi-day adventure provides. Highly recommend.
