Flinders Ranges

The Flinders Ranges is an awe-inspiring outback wonder with weathered rocky peaks and views over the ranges stretching as far as the horizon – truly an adventurer’s delight. Amazing sunrises and sunsets gleam off the red rocks, the stars burn bright at night, and the area hums with an ancient aura that you can only experience in the vast terrain of Australia’s interior. Over four days, you will walk down ancient river beds, past huge river red gums, and up spectacular peaks to gaze at landscapes formed in Earth’s ancient history.

While this trip is packed with hiking, there is still plenty of time in the evenings for enjoying a glass of wine while our guides prepare a delicious dinner. With all your food, transport, and planning taken care of, you’ll be amazed at what you can achieve in a few short days. Our chauffeured bus will pick you up and return you to Adelaide Airport and you will stay in a secluded and quiet accommodation. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience an iconic Australian destination.

I had a blast on the Flinders Ranges trip. I thought it was well organised and the food was amazing! I did underestimate all the uphill walks but the views from the top made it all worth it! Thanks to the guides who motivated me all the way! – Gail

Accommodation

Accommodation in outback Australia is sparse, but we love the cosy house at Willow Springs Station with access to a big open fire pit, and views across the ranges. The large communal dining area, lounge and comfortable bedrooms, with separate facilities are a very welcome and comfortable place to rest your head.

Normally 2 per room, some single supplements available.

Food

We prepare and cook your delicious and nutritious dinners, lunches, all snacks and breakfast. We are big food enthusiasts so be prepared to have freshly ground coffee, yummy snacks and fresh fruit, beautiful vegetable based salads, wraps and cheeses. All this food is energy filled to sustain you on the track – oh! and let’s not forget a sneaky desert or two and a refreshing beverage. We can cater for the majority of nutritional needs. We are not a licensed company so we can’t provide alcohol, though you are welcome to bring a bottle to share.
